For every Gemini Beauty purchase, a percentage of profits are donated to Lupus LA, a non-profit organization that provides a variety of support opportunities for patients in all stages of Lupus and professional development opportunities to the practitioners that serve them. 
 
Joann is currently a freshman at Loyola Marymount. She was born & raised in Los Angeles with her twin sister, Katherine. Joann began working on Gemini Beauty when she was 15 and continues to work on her brand in her dorm room at university.
